I've never used a similar product to this so don't really have any basis for comparison but it seems like it's produced cleanly with no off-putting odor or too much sediment that one might expect. STILL ADJUSTING TO HEN HELPER
My chickens are still adjusting to taste or smell of Hen Helper, I've been making a less potent mixture (1/2 tsp to 1 gallon) so they'll drink it. I hope they are still getting some benefit from diluted mixture. I also noticed that the Catalyst Vitamin formula doesn't mix that well with water, it pools into droplets floating in water, So I mix it really well in a cup with water then pour into gallon mix. Right now I can't say I've noticed any benefit from the Vitamin and Hen Helper supplements. I wanted to start before the summer heat kicks in, so time will tell. The ACV and garlic mix they'll drink without any problems. Read more

Thank you for taking the time to make a review. Catalyst typically mixes extremely well. You do need to stir it. Additionally do you have chlorinated water? If so that can present a problem as it reacts to the organic acids and taste.

Fluffy Butts are Back!
My girls were becoming sluggish and had some abnormal stools that was causing pasty rear end feathers. I gave this a try and a day later they were way more energetic. A couple of weeks later their rear ends stopped pasting. We’re back to fluffy butts!
Firmer Chicken Stool
The only difference i see is the chickens stool is firmer.

Helping poopy bottom!
Seems to be clearing up a poopy bottom girl after just three weeks… time will tell but so far they are drinking the treated water almost as much as the fresh.

We all hate the thought of our flock getting lice and or chicken mites, the little blood-sucking vampires. But my wife and I purchased the backyard bundle mainly for the desecticide cause our flock got infested with mites and lice. I used the spray after I cleaned out the coop. I sprayed the girls and used the supplement in the water. They're doing great!

Results in 2 days
I mixed Hen Helper and Catalyst in gallon of water and my girls just kept drinking more than usually they love it, and we are not even hot weather right now. With in 2 days my husband and I could already see the girls' combs are a lot redder than has been.

A great idea for my chickens
We have had so much rain it has been difficult keeping a dry dust bath. Perhaps some mites were trying to invade. These products have perked my chickens up. All are laying regularly with clean eggs.
Perfect bundle for my flock

Q: Can I use this with turkeys and guineas? Our turkeys and guineas are having leg issues. We free range and feed lots of meal worms and high quality feed but we’re seeing leg issues in the turkeys and guineas and some of our chickens have been laying soft eggs or thin shelled eggs.
