One tablespoon per gallon
Both Hen Helper and Catalyst Liquid use the same simple backyard dose: one tablespoon per gallon of drinking water. No scooping or measuring cups — pour it into the waterer and every bird that drinks gets a dose.
Replace every 2-3 days
Refresh treated water every two to three days, or whenever you top off the waterer. The calculator sizes your per-refill amount around that schedule so you're not over- or under-dosing.
Double up during stress
Heat waves, cold snaps, molting, predator scares, or introducing new birds all stress a flock. Double the dose for a few days through the event, then return to standard.
Safe from day one
Start chicks at the standard dose from their first day. Early probiotic and vitamin support builds a stronger foundation — there's no withdrawal period.
